I believe in the power of words — and a story well told. I’m a former journalist and an award-winning health communications professional with expertise in pr, marketing, branding, writing/editing, social media and strategic communication, including executive communication and speech writing.

I’m adaptable, able to communicate complex concepts and can translate health care, higher ed and other industry jargon. I’m a lifelong learner and bring flexibility, creativity and enthusiasm to every job.

I’m also passionate about leadership. I’ve been leading teams my entire career and have supported presidents, VPs, CEOs and deans. I’ve always been committed to being a better leader and fascinated by exceptional leaders. There’s no magic trick to being a good leader, but there’s an art and science, which can be learned. Sometimes, a little introspection and feedback from a coach can lead to big differences in performance.
